I found this on Pinterest. I think I'm going to do this on the night of March 1st's Full Worm Moon...anyone else want to join me and compare notes? :)

I had to take the time to write a post today because I have been riddled with nightmares of late. Last night Alex woke me up in the middle of the night because I was crying in my sleep. I was having a nightmare that a snake kept biting me over and over. According to Dream Moods:

"To see a snake or be bitten by one in your dream signifies hidden fears and worries that are threatening you. Your dream may be alerting you to something in your waking life that you are not aware of or that has not yet surfaced."

I was probably bit (from what I can remember) at least a hundred times before I got woken up. I wonder if this means I have a lot of hidden fears and worries that are threatening me. I will be doing some card readings today for more insight.

And now for Sunday's night's dream.  Here is another doozie....I don't have the time right now to check all the symbolism, but I will at some point because it was so weird that I'm curious beyond belief!!!I can't believe I remembered it in such detail and if you have any opinion of this dandy, I'd love to hear your thoughts!! :)

I was in an apartment parking garage, in the basement, with Charlie. I noticed that some maintenance men had picked up something of mine and were tossing garbage over it. I told them to leave it alone, it was mine. One of them told me it was trash and kept throwing garbage on it. Charlie lunged at him and barked. The maintenance men took off and I recovered what seemed like a metal bed.

The bottom of my car fell off...it rolled down a hill and I was chasing it. It ended up in a mud pile and I tried to dig it out.

On the way back home, I got a letter saying the maintenance man was suing me for $350 thousand dollars, saying Charlie bit him.

Next thing I know, I was sitting on my couch with Jack, when all of a sudden Arnold Schwarzenegger and some other guy showed up and got into a very nasty fist fight. They fell on top of me and Jack. I was screaming to get off of us. I kept rolling away with Jack under me, protecting him with my body, but Arnold and the other guy kept rolling back on top of me fighting. I kept screaming and Arnold kept yelling "I can't, I can't".

Alex woke me up because he said I was shaking and twitching.

I have recurring nightmares, I have strange dreams, but this one takes the cake recently. Anyone else have weird dreams like this that are so vivid you wonder if they really happened??

Now...back to my living nightmare...the shopping flyers lol! ;)

Hmm, looks like I was not the only one having weird dreams last night. That one with the Charlie biting, car bottom, Arnold Schwarzenegger is just so intriguing! I mean how so very weird but interesting in the same breath!! :)

It sounds exhausting, Rain. I'm not sure if it applies in your case (or if it's similar) but I do know that when we dream of someone stealing from us, it suggests that we experienced (recently or in the past) some kind of injustice, betrayal, heartbreak or disappointment in our lives. And that it left us sad and in pain. Are there issues that need resolving? Are there issues from the past that are haunting you or trying to surface? Are you feeling betrayed? Is there some type of injustice going on? Your property being treated so badly could also indicate a disregard for your feelings, or feeling that your security is at risk, or that you will be harmed in some way.

It sounds like Charlie was a strong part of you that came to your defense. Dogs signify protection, bravery, devotion. Not sure what the suing part is but I wonder if it's self-blame or feeling guilty about taking some type of action even though you were justified. Protecting Jack sounds like you're protecting a very important part of you, or very important things in your life. And rolling away, you're trying to steer clear of drama, chaos, imbalance.

Snake dreams have many interpretations, and I think it's also important to note which part of the body is being bitten. But damn...no matter what they mean, they are quite traumatizing!

I have many "visions" in my dreams, that are so real.
I use to look things up, but now, I truly listen to my soul, to see what it means to me. I could have the same dream as you, but it could mean totally different things. I do think you are "fighting" alot with fears inside of you. I think you have alot of letting go and healing to do.
The one good thing, is that these things are coming up, so your soul in some way, is releasing!
Big Hugs!

Oh mercy! When I have nightmares, I know I am not paying full attention to something I need to change. Like, I may *know* I need to change a relationship or some such, and yet, keep putting it off. Delaying what I *know* inside. Then the bad dreams come. And sort of "hit me on the head," and make me listen.

But, that's just me. I'm not saying it's you.

Hi Dianna :) That Arnold dream totally took me by surprise! Usually my dreams/nightmares revolve around fear but that one was simply confusing. There are some parts that are obvious to me, but now that I think about it, I think that Arnold was wrestling with Rob Lowe for some reason...so maybe this has to do with my youth too. :)

Hi Martha :) Well, I'll be doing more soul searching to deal with what is coming up in my dream world that's for sure! :) As you know, I've felt insecure of late. It's all come to a head and I made it though, so now I need to find more ways to express myself outwardly and heal...not hold in all that stress. Everything you said is spot on! I can't remember where the snake was biting me. The dream was from my perspective so all I saw was the head coming and I felt the pain and fear of it all.

Hi Magic Love Crow :) I usually know what my dreams mean, I have recurring ones that have to do with childhood. Even though I've come to terms with that real nightmare from the past, I keep having the same dreams so I don't much pay attention to them. But the really weird ones, I sometimes look up when I'm stumped!

Hi Wisps of Words :) I like the way you think about this. If something has been on my mind for a while, and I procrastinate, I know it comes out in other ways. Usually it's in the form of anxiety but sometimes it creeps into my subconscious too and I think you're right, my dreams are letting me know to take action!

Oh we will join in with the thyme sprig for sure! I will be interested to see what happens as I only recall maybe one dream a month if that. I used to have terrible nightmares as a child but do not recall having one for many years now. Was for that doozy of a dream there at the end? Wow! Who knows?

As for the snake dream, scary as it was, I know there are old interpretations ( I have am 80 years old dream meaning book my grandparents owned) of snakes in dreams as signs of wisdom and healing and the aggressiveness may be meant as a sign to take action or seek deeper development of other or both, yes!

Hi Nicolas, yeah, usually an Arnold in my dreams isn't too bad to wake up too lol...but in this case it was too weird and SO vivid!!! I'll chalk it up to a wild imagination lol! Oh great!!! So March 1st, it's in my calendar, and I got some thyme at the grocery store this morning...I'm all set! I hope we all remember our dreams that night! It'll be fun to see what comes up! :)

That snake dream sounds horrific, Rain, and I have no clue what to make of your other dream. To me, it feels like you've been under a lot of stress and your brain is mulling over it and sorting through it all. Maybe something is going on with your car and you've picked up on it subconsciously. Maybe you should kick the tires and check the breaks!

I haven't spent a lot of time analyzing dreams, although I often have vivid ones. I have recurring nightmares about horses and recurring nightmares about tidal waves. I was bitten by one of my great uncle's race horses when I was a toddler, and one of my earliest memories is about horses screaming in a fire at the stables at the Charlottetown race track. I get why I have horse nightmares ~ tidal waves, I have no clue why, but they are one of the reasons I think reincarnation might be real, especially since I've dreamed about them as long as I can remember.

I hope you have more restful sleep with less troubling dreams, my friend. I've heard that putting lavender essential oil on your pillowcase helps you sleep better. I tried it, and ended up with oily spots in my pillowcase and pillow that I couldn't get out. LOL Take care, my friend!

Hi Louise :) Yes...I woke up in a panic from that snake dream...those two dreams were especially vivid and upsetting. That's interesting about the car!!! I noticed a noise the other day...sounds like the muffler has a bad cold or something, very cool that you mentioned that! I never thought about it!

Oh my gosh, how awful to have been bitten by a horse!! The tidal wave dream is interesting...swirling emotions, high anxiety...fear. It could be anxiety in the background too. I've heard that about lavender too, but it actually gives me a headache if I smell it too long, funny because it's supposed to help with headaches too! :)

Rain, I am so sorry you have to deal with this. I can't remember a time in my life that I had a nightmare. I am not sure how I would deal with that. I am so sorry. I looked up essential oils for nightmares and I came up with a few. Have you ever tried Lavender, Roman Chamomile, Bergamont, Sandalwood, Mandarin, Rose or vetiver? You can look them up and read about them to see if you think any of these will work. I use a lot of Young Living oils but I have found they can run more in cost then some others. Just pick a good brand (check ratings on them) and make sure they come in a brown bottle. Clear lets way to much light in on the oil. Let me know if you try any and how it works.

Hi Pam :) Thanks for looking those up! I do have some lavender and I have orange (not Mandarin though). I'm going to do some aromatherapy before bed each night with the orange blend I think. I can handle lavender in small doses, but it gives me a headache if I smell it for too long. I'll let you know how it's going. I usually have nightmares on at least a weekly basis, so I'll check in next Sunday! Thanks! :)
