What's For Dinner?

The Tarot doesn't have to only be about gaining spiritual insight for personal growth or advice. I use my decks for all sorts of things, like suggestions on what to make for dinner! :)

You guys know that I usually have a full month of dinners planned before I even go shopping. Sometimes though, I feel a little rebellious and I want to be spontaneous...that is so NOT like me, but I guess once in a while it can happen. :) I decided to ask the Tarot for some advice.

Dinner's main element: the Ace of Swords represents the element of Air.

Dinner's main colour: the Princess of Pentacles represents the Earth, the colour green and the colours of the Earth. The fairy tale is The Princess and the Pea...but I HATE peas...so no can do! I'll stick with the colours of the Earth!! :)

Suggestion from the Tarot: the Queen of Cups represents water, flowing emotions and female nurturing. The fairy tale is about the Sea, but seafood is out for tonight...I don't have any!

*****************

What would you have thought of? What came to mind with air and earth colours, and nurturing (comfort!)...pancakes with maple syrup...these are airy, they are made from ingredients that come from the Earth and they are definitely comforting!

For fun, I drew an extra card to figure out a side dish. The Star also represents air and the colour yellow. Scrambled eggs...airy, yella...why not?  Now the ball is rolling....pancakes with scrambled eggs, hash browns and maple syrup. Comforting and easy. Thank you Fairy Tale Tarot! 😁

You are such a Joy to read, because you bring so much Joy, to your life!

Just the fact that you have a full list of meals planned, is amazing to me. We try, and we always fail. But you stick with it, and accomplish it and can then, follow it. Which is a source of Joy, in itself.

And then, all of a sudden, you get the urge to shake things up a bit! So you let your rebellious side out, and consult your Tarot and.... Up comes a spontaneous, different dinner, from the planned one. Fun!!!!!

You embrace Joy and Fun!!!! Good for you. Good for us, who read here. Everyone needs a reminder, to get our nose off the grind stone, now and then. My grindstone is not the same as others. But we all need to lighten up!!! Thank you for your Breath of Fresh Air! In blogging!!!!!

Hugs, hugs, hugs, hugs, hugs...

How fun! I've never even considered consulting the Tarot about dinner. I think if I had drawn those cards I might have divined vegetable soup.

I used to read tarot cards, but not anymore. A few years ago I went to see a psychic that's known as one of the best in with what he does! He told me things about myself without my telling him and what's to come. He certainly is one of the best in with what he does!

I like some of the things you post about, that's why I followed. I'd like to invite you to follow my blog as well if you'd like.

Pancakes and eggs....oh that sounds so GOOD. I love pancakes! Its the syrup that my gut will not take since my surgery. But I would love to do them all fluffy and maybe just butter! Yummy.

Hi Wisps of Words :) Thank you! :) I used to use the Tarot for mostly self-therapy, but now anything goes lol...I also have a nice little pendulum that I use for yes and no answers, it's very spiritual for me, but it's also fun because this is me, and this is my spirituality! :) It's all-encompassing! Hugs to you too! :)

Ooo pretty Tarot cards! I would love to have mine read, or buy a set.
Every time I do my computer one they are all reversed and say i am unbalanced- which i do feel every day. Like I am on the wrong train track.

Hi Seeking Serenity :) I think that you'd have a greater experience if you had your own deck! The computer generated Tarot readings don't seem personal enough for me. :) I had mine read years and years ago and that got me into reading my own! The deck is lovely, it's my favourite! :)

Thanks Baili :) It's fun and I never know what I'll come up with! :)

What a reminder reading you, to pull out my decks of cards. I use to use them a lot but when we moved several years ago I packed them away.So interesting about your dinners and wow good for you - a month ahead of time. I must tell my husband he needs to plan it out that way, lol. I have cooked since he retired. He loves cooking.

Hi Sandy :) I LOVE my cards...can't get enough of them. I use them for pretty much everything! The monthly shopping saves me so much time and energy. Also most times I find that I save money too. Especially gas money as the stores are about an hour's drive on the highway each way. I just hate leaving home so I try my best to do a monthly shopping trip!
