A Little Positive Post

Sometimes you just hear something you need to share. :)

Whenever I do my cardio workout on my little mini trampoline, I listen to music to help me keep a good tempo. One of the songs I was listening to this morning was called "The Middle" by a band called Jimmy Eat World.

I got this burst of happiness when I heard it...like an all-encompassing hug! I wanted to share a few verses with you, I hope you feel this gives you a little pat on the back!!  :))

I've met many a "bitter heart" in my life. It seems like their main goal is to bring you down to their level of misery!!

Oh I limit my time with folks that try to bring you down, and I don’t understand their reason for doing it! Why, are they so miserable they want everyone else to be the same...and why so miserable? Is it of their making? I limit my time with totally negative folks, I have to cause they can bust your bubble so fast!

Like I said ... one of my main goals is decluttering ... that includes all those " bitter hearts "
I love the lyrics !!

It has gotten really easy to ditch toxic people as I get older! Aging does has its perks :)

A mini trampoline. Sounds so cute! Share a photo!

Yeah.... Those people, who seem to live under a little dark cloud.... Always have something "awful" to tell you.... Etc.

With time, we learn, to avoid them, whenever possible.

Be our own "Guru." Chart our own course. Don't bother with people/places, which don't have a seat at the table, for you.

Hugs....

Hi Pam :) I agree totally. I don't like being around negative people. I feel their energy before they even open their mouths so be honest. I know people have bad days or challenges/pain to deal with. But ultimately it's a choice if you're a bitter person or not right? I prefer to distance myself from that altogether!

Good for you sis. Get rid of the bitter hearts!! :) De-cluttering is so cleansing. I think having too much stuff in the house promotes a feeling of stress.

Hi Martha :) Oh the mini trampoline is fun, I call it "my little tramp" lol...I got it at Canadian Tire years ago because I wanted a cheap piece of exercise equipment that was easy on the knees. It's this one: Rebounder/Mini Trampoline. I read that "rebounding" is very good for the lymph system. It's certainly a fun workout and very easy on my knees. Though the cats keep trying to join me lol!

Hi Wisps of Words :) Yes, agreed. I can't handle being around people who bring me down. Not that I need 100% positivity all the time. People have their down days and that's fine. But it's the chronic negative people that I can't stand being around and I don't have that in my life anymore. Even some bloggers who I used to follow but don't anymore. It's always doom and gloom...enough already!!

Dear Rain I am simply an introvert with harmless and even helpful nature for people around me still I am constantly dealing with people who always try to change my smile into the tears
This is such blessing and grace of God that I survived with my deepest faith upon my Lord who never let me down and always help to grow stronger through such situations

I truly admir your effort for your self to stay positive and calm! Hugs

My husband has a rebounder and swears by it! Yes, it is wonderful for the lymph system and we all need to keep our lymph systems unclogged and flowing freely! I keep saying I'm going to start using it regularly (as he does), but getting outside and doing a "fast walk" feels better for me. Each to our own?

Thank you Rain! Big Hugs! Remember, those bitter people, it's about them, not you and sometimes, those people make you stronger too!

Hi Baili :)) I'm just like you, very much an introvert and I'm so sensitive to other people's negativity. But it does make us grow stronger when we have to deal with it. I'm just trying to avoid it as much as possible!

Hi Mama Pea :)) Each to our own for sure! When the weather is nice, I prefer to be out walking too. I miss my dog walks in the woods, but it's too hairy now that the weather is cold, snowy and icy. Alex and I still try to walk every night though, even if it's just to the mail boxes about 3 blocks away!

Hi Stacy :)) You're right, it's about them and they will be bitter whether I'm in their lives or not!
